“WHAT DOES BLACK SOUND LIKE?”
CELEBRATING THE 7TH ISSUE OF KLOKMAG
NOVEMBER 30TH, CRIMEAN CHURCH
GALATA
After a long summer, we are gathering at a very special event on the 30th of November. On this sunday, you are invited to join us at mesmerizing Crimean Church for one of a kind experience.
Throughout our work on the last issue of Klok – sound, we had one question in mind that couldn’t be answered with printed papers: How do colours sound? Especially our favourite, black. In search of this answer, we decided to create an experience for wonderers – an experience that would seek the answer to the question, what does black sound like? Together, we’ll see.
Starting with a cozy garden gathering accompanied by several winter goodies such as mulled wine, pumpkin pie and anything you can suggest; we are planning to create a small winter wonderland to warm you up for the musical journey coming.
Following the garden gathering, Görkem Şen who invented the amazing instrument Yaybahar will take us inside the church and we finally will be able to witness his unique performance with the Yaybahar in Crimean Church! We don’t even want to imagine how insane it will sound with the acoustics of the church.
Following Görkem, Benjha who is an upcoming talent discovered by our previous cover artist Nicolas Jaar and his very own label Other People will be joining us with his performance. He will be doing a full live show and we’ve heard that he is preparing a very unique act for Crimean Church.
As you can imagine we are extremely excited for this all-live unique experience and will be very happy to see you there, enjoying the music and treats.
We are dedicating this event as a farewell to our last issue on sound and also bringing two boxes of Klok No:7 for the ones who can’t find them anywhere.
